The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes used in the PIT Company Reference File are updated through reference data from our partners at FactSet (https://www.factset.com/). During the summer of 2023, FactSet updated all NAICS references to the 2022 iteration. This is what is represented in the LinkUp dataset. If there is any change to any existing NAICS code, a new row will be inserted with a new start date. All historical data will be preserved for the PIT Company Reference file.
