LinkUp’s U.S. Macro Data Package provides a top-down view of U.S. labor demand from a variety of perspectives. Job listings are aggregated by occupation type and location (MSAs and states), including new listings, removed listings, and total active listings. Labor demand is also aggregated by industry and average job duration (time it takes to fill a position) calculated across each geographic, occupation, and industry grouping. This data package also includes a monthly report on the LinkUp 10,000 that contains active counts for the global employers in LinkUp’s jobs data engine with the most U.S. job openings.
A subscription to the U.S. Macro Data Package includes the following weekly and monthly reports.

Note: The Weekly Macro Package reports are on a 7-day lag and the date you see in the weekly report reflects the start value for the 7-day time period.
Example: The 2022-10-23 Weekly Macro Report covers the time period of 2022-10-23 - 2022-10-29 and was published 7-days after October 29th, 2022.

Active jobs: The count of unique individual job listings active on a company career site within the specified time frame.

Closed duration: The average amount of time in days that job listings remain active on a company career site. Also referred to as job duration, hiring velocity, or days-to-fill.

Created jobs: Number of job listings added to a company career site over a given period of time

Industry: NAICS industry

Job: LinkUp job listings data comes directly from company sites, so our data reflects an initial first step in the hiring process, the job listing, not the later, total employed.

LinkUp 10,000: The LinkUp 10,000 is an analytic, published both daily and monthly, that captures the sum total of U.S. job openings from the 10,000 global employers in LinkUp’s job search engine with the most U.S. job openings.

MSA: Metropolitan Statistical Area is a location attribute. In this set of reports data is included for the largest 20 MSAs in the U.S. by sector, company, and occupation (largest 100 MSAs)
