Issue Description What do I need to do?
24 Million Job Records Contain 2010 ONET Codes  We became aware of a bug that caused the 2019 ONET Code we received from analysis of job titles and descriptions to not update on job records. This issue affects roughly 24 million job records which currently show a 2010 ONET code despite having an up-to-date 2019 ONET code for the job record in our database.

The most up-to-date 2019 ONET codes for the 24 million job records will become available in the February full 2019 ONET file which will be published shortly after the end of February.

Alternatively, you may contact LinkUp technical support to obtain the list of impacted job hashes with the correct ONET 2019 value.

Full Job Descriptions - Split Archive Bug Fix The split archive for Full Job Descriptions contained hash values that do not appear in any job record file. This was caused by a filtering issue on the split archive which is resolved as of the February Full Job Description Split Archive, available mid-March.

If you based job descriptions using a full split archive, linkup_job_descriptions_YYYY-MM-DD_part_###.xml.gz, you should take any one of the following actions:

  • Contact support for a full list of removed job hashes

  • Remove any job descriptions that do not have a job record

  • Re-base using the February description split archive

If you based using the single, full description file, there is no impact on your dataset. This issue does not impact daily job descriptions.

Daily PIT Company Reference Bug Fix

The daily PIT Company Reference file was affected by a bug that prevented new CIDs from showing in the daily PIT Company Reference file under the condition that the CID was created on a date other than the first day the CID indexed its first job.

Any CID missing from the respective Daily PIT Company Reference would have been included in the subsequent Full PIT Company Reference file.

Full PIT Company Reference Bug Fix

The Full PIT Company Reference file included company_id values that should not have been included because they didn’t meet the criteria to be included in our RAW product. You can reach out to support for a list of company_ids removed from the PIT Company Reference file or you can re-base using the February Full PIT Company Reference file which will become available in early March. These company_ids would not have had correlated job records or descriptions.

Please contact Support at [email protected] or open a ticket here if you have any questions and we apologize for any inconvenience these bugs may have caused.
